Interactive Jacket

A big emotional attachment for most people is where they come from. Their roots. Their family.

And weather of your hometown is always a topic that comes back in the conversations you have with others.

In a world where globalization makes people be and feel far from home, we decided to

support them with our concept.

We wanted to offer a jacket that shows where you are from.

Feeling connected to your roots with a light play and movement translating the real time weather

conditions from your hometown.

We decided to combine movement and light to have a stronger message.

As code we make the choice to represent the temperature with the warm white to cold white light close to the collar of the jacket. The wind, second weather feature we are showing, is translated by two servo motors in the front part of the jacket.

We can see this jacket as a conversation starter.
